Frankfort 49 Murray 47 (OT)

Featured Replies

Frankfort advances to the All “A” State Championship for the first time in school history.

Amazing run by Frankfort.

They shot well in their first two games.

Tonight, not so much. 17-55 from 2

2-16 from beyond the arc.

13-21 from FT line, but win anyway in OT, beating a good Murray team..

Coming into the "A" State Tournament, I thought that it might be us (Brossart) who was the team of destiny. Turns out it is Frankfort.

With just a few minutes to go in the bottom bracket semis, it appears strongly that the Panthers will play St. Henry tomorrow in the finals.

Man, that's some kind of run for Frankfort. Congrats to the Fighting Deuces.

I really thought this was Murray's year, but Frankfort is on a run. Good luck to both teams tomorrow.

After the game I asked one of their fans in the concourse how in the world they have 12 losses this season?? They’re a better team than that. He said it took them a while to get a team concept and play together. He said they’re also playing better defense than they were earlier. And lastly, he mentioned that they’re going to the big kid more, and last night I think he had 28 points.

This was the worst officiated game in the 40 plus years i have been watching basketball at any level. One official called 8 of the first 9 so called fouls in the first quarter alone on Murray.
