Harrison Co. 65 Nicholas Co. 64

Harrison County dodged a big upset bid by Nicholas County on Tuesday night. NC led 64-59 with less than a minute to play, but couldn't make any free throws down the stretch to seal the deal. Missed four straight in the double bonus to let Harrison Co. back in the game.

Ultimately, Laura Kendall hit a game winning jump shot as the buzzer sounded for the one point HC win.

LaDonna Turley scored 26 to lead the Fillies.

NC was on fire from beyond the arc for much of the game.

Would have been the first win for NC over HC since the Denkins days.

Paris and Brossart are pretty nice teams, and I might also add Clark County in the mix. It appears to drop off after that, though.

Don't agree with you this year. Paris got smoked by 30 the other night against Henry Clay. Clark not much better. Brossart could surprise though, didn't shoot the ball well last year. Could be better this year.

Bourbon and Pendleton will surprise some teams.

Harrison didn't seem to play much defense in giving up 64 points to Nicholas.

Also, Harrison has a history of going somewhere around 500 in December and then running off a long streak of wins in January/February.

lbbc maybe throughbred can fill us in.Mac must have played with his middleschool lineup until the end of the game.:D :D

Might surprise, but can't play with top 2.
