Open Job: Bryan Station

Featured Replies

Coach Frank Parks, Jr. has been let go by Bryan Station after coaching the Defenders for the past 8 seasons.

Coach Parks did some great things with those young men there. Hate to hear this but he will land on his feet and be successful wherever he goes. Class Act.

Would this be considered a desirable job? What is the state of the football program in general?

The talent level hasn't been the same since Douglass opened up. Loss a lot of players to them and have yet to recover.

True that has hurt them some but the year before (2016) Douglass opened they were only 4-7 and the 5 years before Douglass they were only 1 game over .500 at 29-28. They were 3-4 in the play over the 5 years and never made it past the 2nd round.

It's my understanding interviews have been happening this week. Any word on who they hire?

I don’t know if this is true or not but I heard when they where playing Oldham County that the team was really young and majority of there starters where sophomores and juniors. If that’s the case you would think the school would give him at least one more year to see what they could do when all these players are a whole year older and more mature.

Coach Hawk has taken the position based on FB posting.

Congratulations Coach Hawkins.
