Word is (coming from Hazard officials as well) Mark Dixon is leaving the Hazard program to go to crosstown rival, Perry County Central.

He's a top notch coach, I hate it for Hazard.

It has now been confirmed from WYMT.

Is the pay better at PCC?

Certainly Hazard is a much, much better football program.

Hazard is 1A while Perry Central is 4A. Nothing against Hazard but I think Perry Central has nicer facilities.

I will take a dirt field if I can win a state championship but I understand everyone (coaches included) need to lookout for number one.

Getting a central office type job along with being the Head football coach. Pretty good pay increase.

I’m shocked!!! But very interested in who we seeing coaching the dawgs next season..

Interesting move, will be interesting to see what Hazard does for his replacement.
