If I were Louisville, I would want Notre Dame. That swiss-cheese pass defense would look silly with Brohm throwing all over the field (and this is coming from a long-time Irish supporter). I think the game against Wake is very winnable and so, is a good matchup for Louisville. Who they beat isn't important other than for bragging rights. The only thing the Cards need is a BCS Bowl victory. As far as the game thread... I really feel for Rutgers on this one. I found it harder and harder to cheer for WVU all game. Rutgers had a great story to tell and its a team chock-full of stand-up, likeable guys. Good luck to both WVU and Rutgers in their bowl games. Good luck to the Big East.
December 3, 200619 yr Can't you all just picture the kids at UofL all packed around the TV and exploding when they slapped away that 2 pt. pass? I bet the campus is bedlam right now. I was at a formal dance at a hotel in town that did not have a TV with cable in a common area for us to watch. So I had a friend on the phone giving me play by play and about 20 people crowded around listening to my relay. It was pretty crazy. See ya in Florida! :dancingpa :dancingpa :dancingpa
December 3, 200619 yr Actually it's Opa Locka. My dad used to live in Opa Locka and was in charge of UPS' operations at Opa Locka airport....We'll be flying Southwest into FLL.
