Post of the year: and yes he probably does!

I just won 5 dollers two because I knew that the Gallatin fans would come on here and say the refs where great (54 free throws to 30 seems fair). Daugherty did not cuss a ref walking off the floor I sat right behind the bench I would have noticed. Lets not forget that it is Gallatin Co. more then anything the lose is embarising. When I was in school a lost to Gallatin was unaccabtible. If you say the refs had no effect on the game you was not there. As for ms football who cares and academic team really who cares. Don't forget you still have to play Walton two more times this year the outcome will be different.

Plus 81 shutup twenty of it was on the JV team.

Mark my words on this one take it to the bank Gallatin is not as good as you think they are.

Can you please learn to use spell check. I am having a very hard time understanding your post's. With that said Walton has a nice team and yes the next match up with Gallatin will be interesting. Like Mr. Cat said Gallatin won by 20 some and their two big guys barely touched the floor:sssh:

When you were in school you obviously didn't pay attention in English class either. The JV team was in for a reason, we were dominating the Varsity team. As for the daughtery comment, you obviously weren't setting behind the Gallatin Bench where this incident took place. While you were at the game you obviously didn't notice much, but it always feels good to have a crutch to lean on and Walton's crutch for years has been that th referee's cost us that game.

Your exactly right Mr. Curtain this is definetly a "novice" piece if scored on the CATS test.

I'm going to post this as a reminder and this will be the only warning given.

2. No disparaging, taunting, or boastful comments--especially between opponents trying to intimidate each other. This includes name calling or personal attacks toward any member, their username, or school. Also, keeping in mind the youth of our student athletes, excessive "bashing" is prohibited in the high school forums.

Point taken loud and clear.

Was Gallatin the better team on the night? Yes. But it is remarkable that the Gallatin fans on here think that the game was officiated evenly. Did it have an outcome on the game? Probably, but I still think Gallatin would have won even if there had been a good ref at the game. The T picked up by the Walton player was absolutely ridiculous, it actually made me laugh. I enjoyed the fans doing cheers up until I noticed a girl from Gallatin county in the front row on the court had both of her middle fingers up in the air towards the Walton sideline. All in all it was a good first half of basketball that was sadly ruined in the second by the officiating. But I will say again that I think Gallatin County would have still won.

The game was equally as bad for both teams. There were 4 offensive fouls called on GC in the first four minutes of the game that were definetly wrong. I will be the first GC fan to say the refs were horrible, very bad, but I believe they were on both sides of the ball. And yes they probably had something to do with determing the margin of victory, but they had nothing to do with the "D" GC played in the third quarter. One last comment the ref told 44 to tell 20 on the previous play and I quote " tell 20 one more word and I'm going to get him" so it didn't matter what he said, he made a gesture and said something and that's all it took. GC's #21 got a tech for the exact same reaction why is no one saying anything about that call? Enough said best of luck W/V see you in Jan.

Looking at the box score did Davis and Carlton not play for Gallatin?

Yea they played but were in constant foul trouble and couldn't get in the flow of the game. The little they were in they both dominated play. In the game most people north of beaver lick claim getting screwed two of Gallatins top seven didn't even break a sweat.

The girl wasn't holding up both of her middle fingers up in the air! It was a cheer we do for the player shooting the free throw. "Come on Cody, make our wish, all we want to hear is (clap, clap) Swish!"Then they put their hands up in the air, like they are shooting. Our student body would not do something like that and our administrators would not tolorate that. The student would be thrown out of the gym. Please know your facts before commenting on your perception.:sssh:

Haha you honestly think I confused that with the middle fingers? No, she gave the middle finger on both hands, it was during the middle of play while the Gallatin County fans were looking over to the Walton fans to see what they were saying. I KNOW MY FACTS :thumb: , and maybe you should get yours straight before you comment on something that you clearly didn't see:sssh: .

We all get a little riled up on here at times, but both schools have nice teams and I look forward to seeing them play again. Good luck to both schools
