Aside from Lexington Catholic scoring 30-something on them, the most they’ve allowed is 9. I think they’re pretty good defensively.

 

I agree, they’re definitely a great defensive team. But, the play calling seems to have taken a step back this game. Reminds me a lot of the FR game, except this defense is much better.

You may disagree, and I get it, but it seems to me the Purples tried to do what has worked for them the past two rounds. Grind, grind, grind. Cooper is a fine QB, but even I think he would agree he has some developing to do tossing the rock. When you are limited at that position against a great defense, it becomes incredibly hard to call plays.

 

I’m not too hard on the coaches tonight. Purples are playing a phenomenal team and I think this match up is great stuff for the state of Kentucky. I hope it’s not the last time they play.
