14/15 running clocks? I lost count?

I agree 110%. But some classes still may of seen some running clocks.

There will always be running clocks in every round, in years past these games would have been last week.

Exactly, but the point of playoffs is to try and have the best teams advancing week in and out to create interesting matchups further in the playoffs.

I counted 14 running clock games out of 24 tonight. Not sure if Breathitt County got one or not, but they won by 29.

3 each in 6A, 5A, and 4A. 2 each in 3A and 2A, and 1 in 1A.

 

DeSales won by 34, Beechwood by 35, and Male by 26 without running clocks. Only one-fourth (6) of the games were decided by less than 26 points.

The best team each week does advance and RPI reseeding will keep the best from playing the best until the finals. That said, creating interesting matchups is not the point of the playoffs...have a fair path for all teams should be.

 

The only teams that suffered were the ones in loaded districts that went out one round earlier than they normally would have.

I think you can probably add Owensboro to the list. I think they win big tonight.
