I am going to admit that I cannot be completely objective because I have known the play-by-play announcer my whole life but the only problem I hear with the broadcast is that the color commentator is adding too much information and not letting the PBP man get into a rhythm.

 

It is usually best if the PBP man can pick up the action once the huddle breaks and give the spot of the ball and the down and distance as well as the formation and skill position players. Steve isn't able to do that because Ransdell talks until the ball has already been snapped.

Danville does a nice job using motion to loosen the linebackers and then punch it inside for 3 or 4. Very successful formation.

And you were played by Danny Devito but I don't see much Arnold in Steve.

 

 

That was the one falsehood in the screen play.

For a HS game they are doing just fine!! I wish I had their job!!
