Who wins this matchup of teams in the BluegrassPreps 1A Top 10? This is also is a district matchup. Paintsville comes into the matchup at 6-2 on the season. Raceland comes in at 5-3.

It's that time of year again! Of course I'm talking about the time of year when I pretend like I know who's going to win this game, only to be proven wrong because no one really has a clue what's going to happen when these two get together, other than it'll be hotly contested. At this point, they're too evenly matched from one year to the next for there to be a clear favorite.

In regards to common opponents, they both blew past Fairview and Betsy Layne without breaking a sweat and both pushed Pikeville to their limit, before coming up just short.

One thing I'm reasonably certain of is that this will be the first of two meetings between the Rams and Tigers because that's just how this district works.

This will be the first real test of Heighton's arm since his return from injury.

ttt

I was going to watch this one, but the rain has decided for me. I can’t get sick and miss work. So hopefully this game will have a video feed from the Paintsville area.

Thanks for picking it up. :thumb:

another Tigers / Rams district title game …..

IMO this will be a tough task for my Ramblers to come out of this place with a W, one of the toughest places in the state for the opponent to get a win.

INT Rams … returned to Tigers 5 yd. line.

That may be the game. There are quite a few front porches around the football field in Paintsville.
