September 30, 20197 yr What happened to the Patroits player who led with their helmet and knocked out Josh Allen? My guess nothing. Quite honestly a lot of the hits we have seen Burfict get suspended for happen every week. However, since he basically creates this reputation. Almost any hit he does will be looked at.
September 30, 20197 yr How far into his career did Burfict receive his first fine? How far into his career when he received his first suspension? See above.
September 30, 20197 yr Author As for the hit, Burfict is playing in the wrong era. 20 years ago he is considered one of the best linebackers in the game and an enforcer. However, in today's game there isn't any room for this stuff. Especially when every camera is watching every move he makes or does. There are dozens of players in this era and previous ones that play(ed) just as hard as Burfict and none of them have the reputation he does. He's a dirty player, the dirtiest in the league. Period.
October 1, 20196 yr What happened to the Patroits player who led with their helmet and knocked out Josh Allen? My guess nothing. I just read he will not be suspended. They are going to review the play to see if it warrants a fine.

October 2, 20196 yr There are dozens of players in this era and previous ones that play(ed) just as hard as Burfict and none of them have the reputation he does. He's a dirty player, the dirtiest in the league. Period. I would be willing to bet if you take one starting linebacker on every single team in the NFL. Then with each one of those linebackers, you watch every single play of just that one linebacker for that whole season. You will see some of the exact same hits that Burfict has gotten suspended for over his career. The difference is every single person and media person is not looking at every hit and waiting and thinking is this a dirty hit? Shoot there has been some plays posted on twitter after the fact by random people who find something on Burfict. Now Burfict has only himself to blame because he created this target where everyone watches every single one of his plays. However, some of these hits he has been suspended for. You almost see every single game, yet most of the time no one thinks a thing of it and is not even flagged. With him though, if he hits someone it gets looked at. Was his hit dirty absolutely. Do we see hits like that every single week and literally think nothing of it and not even flagged, absolutely.

The hits that you claim happen in every game wouldn't be an issue if he didn't have a career full of dirty play. He's not being picked on, he's a dirty player.
