September 29, 20197 yr Final. No, that is not a typo. Cumberlands scores ninety-eight Points in the shutout victory to win the Brass Lantern trophy. I am very eager to see the stats once they are released, as I’m sure most everyone else is.
September 29, 20197 yr Wow, that’s a lot of points! Probably going to be some eye popping stats, I’m sure!
September 29, 20197 yr Congrats to the Indians. They are 3-0, now. That's the most points scored in a football game in Whitley County since my freshman year of high school, 1972. Richmond Madison scored 98 in that one.
September 29, 20197 yr @swamprat went old school on us! I’m assuming that must be their former mascot? :lol2:
September 29, 20197 yr Didn't Georgia Tech beat Cumberland (no "s") something like 222-0 in the most lopsided college game ever? Cumberland may have have been a school in Tennessee, not Kentucky, though. There must be some type of curse on that name.

September 29, 20197 yr I’m assuming that must be their former mascot? :lol2: Yes they were the Indians for many years. Changed to Patriots probably 20 years ago.
September 30, 20197 yr Yes they were the Indians for many years. Changed to Patriots probably 20 years ago. Their colors were maroon and white, too. I attended school there between my junior and senior years in high school and between Morehead and UK. They will always be the Indians to me.
