Wow. 18-21 and about 30 yards per completion. Will he play college football? Seems I heard he is a very good baseball player, too.

Great question! Those are times to get your younger QBs in game to get some varsity snaps so next year they can do the same thing. Missed opportunity.

Not taking away from the kid at all here, he just played football. But come on man!Put your subs in and run the ball.

I don't even have a problem with the backups passing if that is your offense. If he is getting game speed experience he might as well get it doing what he'll need to do when his turn comes.

I think when a kid establishes (or ties) any kind of extreme record like this it is going to be the result of a blow-out. I don't think you throw for 9 TDs in a 67-65 , non-OT nail biter. It is the coach's decision, whatever his reasoning might be, to let the kid approach those lofty heights. I would be surprised if the great majority, if not all, of these crazy records were not attained in blow-out games.

His last TD pass came with 1:10 left in the third. OCath is a solid team with some amazing players...Hartz is a great QB - not his fault

9 touchdowns would be impressive against a quality opponent, but not against this team. This is not the type of game to schedule for a team claiming to have 2A title aspirations.
