After a ugly lose this past week to NCC, Campbell fans are in panic mode about the rest of the season. All I have to say is just calm down. The Camels lost a lot of players from last year, they will be just fine. Coach Woolf and his staff will fix what needs fixed. This is a young team with good talent.

I hope you're right, @MR.NKY. Those who know the program expected a rough season due to graduation. Unfortunately, the Camels just don't have the horses this year. The senior class is thin and when you have that gap, it's hard to compensate with sophomores and juniors. I know the players love Coach Woolf, so that's half the battle right there. I really don't see them winning more than 2 games this year but I hope I'm wrong. On the bright side, there are some very nice players in the sophomore and junior classes and the experience they'll get this year will serve them well next season. The Camels may be experiencing the dreaded cycle of a small senior class but they won't be down for long. Onward and upward.

I realize you can't take a lot out of scrimmages, but given what CovCath did to NewCath, I really expected even a down Camel team to beat NewCath -- never envisioned them getting handled so easily. You're spot-on Guru, it has to be about the destination for Coach Woolf and the Camels this year.

Poorly worded on my part, thanks for bringing it up. I expected the Camels to win, forgetting the 16 point final margin, I'm surprised NewCath was able to win the game at all. I worded that awkwardly, sorry.

I think @The Double Deuce quote was pretty accurate. Campbell County could not move the ball much at all against a 1A school. I think the Breds handled them pretty easily. That was my opinion when watching the game in person.
