This score reminds me of the Coach Wallace BG teams from 2011-2013. Playing a good team but taking care of business and putting points on the board. I’m just saying, this team and program has chip on their shoulder and those top two teams in 6A were put on notice and will continue be put on notice until their time comes.

DeSales is 3A so put some respect on their name. They’re a good team and if DeSales was an OOS from IN, IL, or FL Trinity would be trying to schedule them.

 

Trinity beats two overrated preseason teams and all of a sudden they’re the greatest thing on turf again. They’re on notice because Trinity’s toughest games won’t just be those OOS games; St. X is going to give BOTH the #1 and #2 6A teams all they want.

Another thing to keep in mind: St X was without 5 key pieces on defense, 4 of which would likely start in the secondary. Dantoni, Karem, Gerhardt, Dorsey. On the DL: Bruner. Some good players that will be back.

The weather had to help gates all across Kentucky last night. Obviously game one always draws good crowds but it was almost perfect weather yesterday.

It was their first game as a 3A team. Take it easy. And Trinity likely would not schedule them if they were OOS. It doesn't benefit them to play teams from such lower classes. St. X played a good game and got a nice revenge win. But that doesn't make them the greatest show on turf either.

I don’t put a lot of stock in what class a team is in. 1A team beat 6A team this week. DeSales would easily be a top ten team in 6A. With that said, St.X has huge numbers advantage on them and should beat them. St.X and Trinity’s numbers are so large they could be in their own class like 7A.

It was a silly statement. Saint X is always on Trinity’s radar, a win over a 3A team does absolutely nothing to change that.
