June 13, 20197 yr What a game for the Blues. The Bruins came out and put immediate pressure on the Blues for the first 10 minutes of the game. Blues goalie Jordan Binnington was the best player on the ice during this time, making incredible saves to keep the Bruins at bay and to allow his team to settle in. It could've been 2-0 Boston quickly had it not been for the rookie net minder. The dagger came with 8 seconds left in the first period when Alex Pietrangelo scored the 2nd goal for the Blues to take a 2-0 lead going into intermission. Miraculously, the Blues scored 2 goals on 4 shots for the period. For the game, they scored 4 goals on 20 total shots. Incredibly, Saint Louis were true road warriors during the Stanley Cup Playoffs, losing 7 of 13 games at home but winning 10 of 13 games on the road.
June 13, 20197 yr Also, I still don't know how I feel about Charles Barkley being on the set during the 1st intermission. If you want to have him on as a "hockey fan", I suppose that's cool. I don't watch NBA games, but I try to catch as much Inside the NBA as I can because of Barkley. Hilarious stuff. Charles mentions his love of hockey all of the time on there.
June 13, 20197 yr I saw a post on Twitter that said Charles Barkley looks like he was going to Wal-Mart and accidentally wound up at Game 7. That was hilarious because that could've been a true statement for how Sir Charles was dressed.

I saw speculation that he was forced to put on a button down shirt, but instead of taking off his polo shirt, he just put it on over top it and left it unbuttoned.
