Reds at Cubs (5/24 - 5/26)

Featured Replies

Garrett lets Rizzo steal second without even looking at him and then walks the back up catcher with two outs to get to Conterias. Hernandez comes in and gives up a two strike single to give Cubs a 5-4 lead in the ninth.

Votto draws a lead off walk and Suarez hits it in the Lake. Reds up 6-5.

Reds threaten but score no more. Igelias coming up to try to nail this one down.

One, two, three and this one belongs to the Reds. Reds win 6-5. Huge win.

Who was the guy that said there would be no Home Runs today? This Guy!!!:no:

GREAT comeback today, HUGE win for our boys, lots of con tributions by different people!!

I’m like Sumo though on 1 thing, don’t understand why we continue to pitch lefties down and in, we are getting pretty much killed by it.

Reds are now 22-19 since they’re abysmal first 10 days of the season.

And that includes a lot of games against top level teams.

Let's take another series from these darn Cubbies!

Barnhart with a two run homer in the second, Reds up 2-0. Wind blowing out today.

I am just at the end of my rope. Mahle throws Russell a baseball on outside corner on an 0-2 count that he hits for a Home Run. I know he missed his spot but why do we throw these guys fastballs that swing from their heels? Bad pitch calling. Reds down 3-2 in the fourth.

Did he miss the target or was a bad pitch called?

Mahle gives up two more two out runs. Cubs up 5-2. Reds can not score with the wind blowing out.

Both, he did not get it off the plate enough but no reason to throw a fastball.
