Got an e-mail from AD Wise that Ludlow is open.

Interesting. Anyone know why this job is now open?

I am surprised at this one, but looking back at things I heard during the season about parents, the elementary program, and how assistants were being treated, it kind of makes sense. I didn't think those things would warrant a resignation.

 

It is possible though that this opening has to do with something else and nothing to do with some of the things that I heard.

Montecalvo won the D3 coach of the year award and his girls reached the Regional for the first time in a long time. I can only see two possible reasons here... 1) He believes he has a job secured at a larger school (is possible that he'd be in the running for a job like Holmes or Scott?), or 2) this has to do with internal stuff off the court.

 

Any other possibilities than those?

Any news on this one? Decent team coming back so it’s not a terrible job imo. However from what I’ve heard it sounds like someone from Ludlow needs to take it.

I’ve just heard that they tend to favor and give a little more slack to someone from Ludlow. I could be wrong but that’s simply what I’ve heard.

Ludlow usually does look for a Ludlow person but they have went outside with the last boys and girls basketball hires. I wonder if someone in Hebron is interested in this job?

Exactly my first assumption.

Stamm has accepted the position at Ludlow.
