Irwin does not tag up on a line out to center which the throw was off line and Suarez strikes out looking. Schebler singles in the run. Big hit there.

And it’s a fielder with a cannon, in shallow center, with his momentum coming forward. You absolutely do not try that with only one out. Not with Suarez following.

 

Saurez didn’t work out, but the rest of that inning is why you don’t.

Sure you do, be aggressive and he never had time to set up and throw as the throw was up the line. Just different thoughts.

No, you don’t. You said yourself in the last series thread that the second out was the rally killer.

 

If he gets thrown out we’d have heard that narrative again.

Second out is a rally killer but this guy was on third. Totally different situation.

No, you can't make the 2nd out at home in that situation. There are a ton of ways to score from third with 1 out, don't send him home unless it's a sure thing.
