Except if you read my post it in the Hagans coming back thread, I am said “his only decision.” He absolutely needs to come back. Like Jones, he will end up being a really good college player and NBA who knows, it depends on year 2 of college for both of them.

Well you’re the one saying he was the most important player on a team of superstars. Why isn’t he cashing in on that hype, because the NBA says likely a 2nd round pick in this draft? Now that the “big 3” are gone maybe it’s his team.

He wasn’t a first round pick. Probably wouldn’t have even been drafted.

You are more than likely correct, I've just never been sold on him. I've watched more Duke basketball this year (Zion Effect) than ever and Cam just doesn't excite me.

 

ESPN’s mock draft has Cam at 7th in the first round. I love Cam to death but he is definitely being drafted on potential alone. I’ll never say he should come back but I have seen guys projected in the second round who not only had better seasons than him but seem to have the same skill set as Cam.

 

Are we seeing politics at the highest form of basketball in play..........

 

I’ll also add that a Duke blogger that I follow mentioned Cam powering through a lot of off court stuff this year. I’d LOVE to know what happened behind the scenes for Cam.
