March 15, 20197 yr Kareem Hunt will lose half a season as a consequence of his actions that are well-documented. The Commissioner took into consideration that he was cut by the Chiefs causing him to miss 5 games last season and was not paid for those games. Players in similar circumstances have been placed on the Commissioner's exempt list but still got paid because they remained with their teams. So, Hunt will return to the game at mid-season. Hopefully, Chubbs is healthy and having a great year and whether Hunt joins the team or not is not critical to the team's success.

March 15, 20197 yr Browns didn't take much risk in acquiring Hunt, not even having to pay him a million dollars due to the length of this suspension. Considering it is just 8 games, they may ultimately regret that they only got him for a year. But he could pay huge, huge dividends for them.
