The Diesel needs to step back & let this kid play. Howard deserves it 10 times more than Shaq does. Shaq can wait his turn once more. If he expects to play in the game then he should atleast play half the season. I love O'Neal but he is wrong here.

I think he is some what in denial that his career is coming to an end and doesn't want it to. He now has to sit out half the season just to be able to play at the end and into the playoffs. I loved Shaq when he played for the Lakers and I like him still but some things he does and says really makes me mad. I know it's because I am a Kobe fan I don't wanna hear it.

There isn't a dominant football, baseball, basketball or hockey player. There isn't a dominant boxer. Our two transcendent athletes are a tennis player (Roger Federer) and a golfer (Tiger Woods). We haven't seen a dominant team since the Patriots rolled off 31 of 33 victories during their last two Super Bowl seasons ... and as much I loved that team, there was never a point where you could have definitively said, "That team is playing on a higher plane than everyone else." Ever since MJ retired (the second time) and the Yankees got old, there's been a greatness drought with team sports.
