I know Kobe's numbers are down this year but he has done a heck of a job with this team this year. Phil is also a huge reason for that. Kobe and Phil are great together. January 18, 200719 yr Lakers - 100 Spurs - 96 End of first SA - 25 LA - 19 End of 2nd SA - 53 LA - 49 End of 3rd LA - 73 SA - 71 Sloppy game for both teams throughout the 1st quarter. Parker played good for SA in first. He ended up with 25 points. Luke Walton is one of the better passing forwards in the NBA. Kobe had 2 fouls with 8:28 left in 1st quarter, got took out & did not play in first after that. Kobe had 3 points in the first quarter, 17 in the 2nd, 6 in the 3rd & 8 in the 4th. He ended up with 34 points, 8 assists & 6 rebounds. Before this game he was shooting 47.9% from the field. Radmonovich played well for the Lakers off the bench. He had 13 points (3-3 on three point attempts) San Antonio was 5-20 from the 3 point range. I think you can take the Suns out of that. The will get beat like they do every year in the post season because they don't play any defense. A very young Lakers team had them on the Ropes last year and couldn't finish them off. All that run and gun works now but I won't cut it in the post season.

They also didn't have Amare for that series. Just keep saying they don't have a chance. If you had to pick one team right now I could say they won't win it either and I'd more than likely be right, but I wouldn't dismiss anyone who's won 29 of 31 games.
