BCS possibilities

It's kind of muddy, but I'll try:

Fiesta

OSU v USC/UM

Sugar

Ark/Fla v UofL/Rutgers

Orange

UT/Big 12N (Nebraska?) v ACC

Rose

USC/UM v NDU

Any other suggestions?

Same stadium, but the Fiesta Bowl will be over a week before OSU steps onto the field.

I cant' really see too much demand for a ND vs. UM / USC rematch. I would like to think that most people would want to see a new matchup. It's looking like Boise St. will probably crash the party.

I think Notre Dame beats USC. That changes everything.

IF Notre Dame beats USC...

BCS Title game - Ohio State vs. Michigan

Rose Bowl - Wisconsin vs. USC

Orange Bowl - Georgia Tech vs. West Virginia

Sugar Bowl - Arkansas/Florida vs. Notre Dame

Fiesta Bowl - Texas vs. Boise State

Wait, am I missing something this year that you're including? The Fiesta Bowl is the title game …

3 Big 10 teams in the BCS, not sure that will happen, I think anytime that the Big 10 champ is in the NC, the Rose Bowl gets an out from their Big 10 tie in.

If two Big 10s play for the national title, I think the Rose would still like a Big 10 team in the bowl since there isn't a decent Pac 10 team outside of USC worthy of the BCS

Hey, the SEC and the other biggies made the rules. Can't change it in midstream just because a conference underperforms. And as far as the ACC goes, coming into play today, they had five teams ranked. Only one other conference could make that claim: The Almightly SEC.

I agree with you Jim on how it goes - it just makes me mad that is how it goes. Plus I am really bored right now and I typically get grumpy when I get bored.

This thread really took off after a few posts.

Well Im guessing Texas hopes USC beats Notre Dame, because according to your bowl game predictions, Texas will get to play in both the Rose Bowl and the Fiesta Bowl. I know that might be hard on the players but the school sure will make alot of money.... :p:D
