Final

Disappointing outcome for the Ads. At least they are still going to Region next week.

Outstanding performance by Freshman Jaxon Smith with 27.

Wow!

The game winning 3 for Lincoln was questionable. Some say it was a walk. Great game and great atmosphere. Congrats to Lincoln County.

I'd have to see it again but from my angle on press row it looked like he shuffled left before shooting.

Either way, though, great game. The fourth quarter was full of big time plays by players from both teams.

I agree, great game on both ends. I think what will keep Danville from winning the Region will be lack of perimeter shooting. If Haden is not hitting they have nobody else that can shoot.

St. Martin and Dawson have been solid shooting threats throughout the season, but you’re right Hayden ignites this team. That’s back to back game with 3 and 4 points. Could be a slump at wrong time? But, they definitely need that shooting from deep.

I've tried to link a video from Twitter posted by Matt Overing (@MOvering) of the Advocate-Messenger. Hopefully it will play. Definitely shows it was a walk.

Also, watch the video with the volume on. You can hear much of the crowd gasp/yell "walk" right before he shoots.

Was very impressed with Darrian Bell from Danville in both the semifinals and finals. He really kept the Admirals in it during the third quarter and early fourth when Lincoln was threatening to pull away.
