Yes, first region appearance for McCreary Central since 2010. The district became three teams after Monticello closed in 2013.

Pretty evenly matched teams; Central had lost the regular-season games by 5 and by 2. You know the old adage about beating a team three times in one season...

From what I've heard at work this am Southwestern hit a three to tie the game but them fouled Mccreary in backcourt with less than a second left to send them to the free throw line for the game winning free throws.

Does anyone have more details that was there? Sounds like a wild ending. Congrats to the Raiders. The defending champions bow out early.
