The streak stretches to 12 as Jarin Rassman rebounds a missed Rocket free throw with 7 seconds remaining and goes coast to coast for the game winner.

Rassman and Wyatt Bowen both scored 17 points. Bowen scored 10 in the final quarter. Hayden Dickerson added 10.

Gallatin played without the services of Troy Coomer, who was out sick.

The Wildcats (24-5) have played 9 games in 14 days and gutted out victories the last two nights.

Next up is the 31st District Tournament on Tuesday against the Eminence-Owen County winner.

Of the contenders I've seen this past two weeks, Walton and Gallatin may be playing the most complete ball...

Without question, however, a new season starts Monday.

Man, I love that they are rolling right now. I just hope they still have some gas left in the tank by the time they get to Henry County.

Assuming they win Tuesday that will be 2 games in 9 days or 10 depending on their draw. I know they haven’t practiced during the 9 game stretch. May not practice much next week either.

One thing of note. The school was shut down last month because of the flu. With no basketball activities during that time, the Wildcats regained their legs and have gone 10-0 since.

I know it might be unlikely, but I would like to see them roll into Rupp.
