It’s official. Chappell was named GC’s HC today.

For those not familiar, this is Jason Chappell who came from the head coaching position at Whitley County.

Coach will work hard and do a good job. He is great with young men and a very knowledgeable coach. Hope they will give him time to build it. Congrats to Coach Chappell and his family.

There is a rumor a former Georgetown buffalo might be moving back to Scott Co. If he does and he ends up at Great Crossing Chappell could have a pretty exciting QB the next two seasons.

Chappell will be amazing there, I’m sure he will be glad to not have an administrator calling his offense for him anymore! I’ve called several games when he was coaching and you will not find a higher class person to lead young men.

From the looks of the blueprint, he will have top notch facilities to work with. I’ve never met Coach Chappell but I have heard good things about him.

Their are a lot of kids in Scott County that want to play but can't or are not playing because of the numbers on Scott County's roster. Its going to interesting to see how the talent disperses.

I think he will bring and exciting, fun brand of football that kids want to play in. Best of Luck!
