Mustang
Mustangs prevail in the battle of the 10th Region "A" Titans, defeat Robertson County 63-52, and move on to the Saturday semi-finals vs Augusta at 6:15pm, at the Campbell County Middle School. The Mustangs struggled from the floor early on, connecting on only 29% of our shots in the first half, BUT, were 5 of 10 from 3-point land to make amends. Brossart led start to finish, leading 12-8 at the end of the first quarter and 30-18 at the half. Both teams netted 12 points in the third period, as the Mustangs maintained a 12 point, 42-30 lead. In the final stanza the Mustangs led by as few as 8 at 44-36 early in the fourth quarter, then pushed the lead to as many as 16 at 51-37. and as few as 9 late in the game at 58-49. The Mustangs went on to win 63-52. Brossart Junior Ethan Eilerman led all scorers with 19 points. Senior J.D. Schumacher recorded a double-double with 13 points and 11 points. Bryson Wieland netted 11 points. Robertson County Freshman Justin Becker led the Black Devils with 17points. Sebastian Dixon put up 11, and Eli Dotson added 10. Shed no tears for Patrick Kelsch's Black Devils who have NO SENIORS :banghead: on their roster.

mooremiller31
No surprise to me. Brossart is good this year and played a much more difficult schedule then Robertson. Check the status of the Black Devil nation someone!!
GeneraLee
Not surprised at all. Robertson plays a very weak schedule and compiles wins. GRC, Montgomery, Bourbon, Campbell, Scott, Brossart & Mason are all above ROCO IMO. And I'm not convinced they're better than Harrison with all their guys playing or Pendleton even without Dontaie. 13 wins have came from the following... Augusta x 2 Nicholas x 2 Fleming Bracken Ripley (OH) Calvary Christian Pineville Cumberland Owsley Hancock St. Pat Teams they have beaten in KY (Ripley excluded) are a combined 57-118 with Calvary Christian being the only win against a team over .500. I think you can comfortably put them at 8 in region rankings, maybe 9 or 10.
