1st two episodes out tonight. Just finished ep 1. I thought it was great.

Looking forward to it. This is my short week at work so definitely getting in both episodes at some point.

Much better than season 2.

So far it’s been great. It’s back to what made season one so good. Season two was bad. This season makes me feel like season one wasn’t a fluke.

Another fantastic episode tonight.

I think I'm saving it. Watch in a month or two.

I DVR the show and I’ve noticed something strange. At first I thought it was something strange with the DVR (it still could be) but I’ve noticed it in all three episodes. It only happens to Detective Haze when he is talking. There is like a slow motion, fluttering type action to the image. It happened in episode while Haze is in the car with his wife at the drug store. He is moving his hand as he talks. It’s more subtle in that scene but it was there. Anyone else notice this? I’m going to go back through the episodes to see when it happens and then if it’s a DVR thing. I’ve just never had it happen before which makes me feel it’s part of the show.

I noticed the same thing while watching and wondered if my DVR acted up while recording. Good to know it's not just me.

Now I’m going to have to go back and watch the first three episodes again for sure.

Episode 5 is available now to stream.

I’m so thankful that this season is a return to form. And the acting... it is outstanding.

Mahershala Ali and Stephen Dorff have been fantastic in this show. Both deserve to win awards.

And the writing is great as well. I hope there's a season 4...

I suppose I expected Ali to be great, so I’m not surprised by him. But I did not remotely expect Dorff to be as good as he has been.
