Heard Boyd co. was going to Harrison co. in april to play in a weekend tournament. I think its great 2 baseball giants get to hook up during regular season. Anybody have a scoop on what kind of team Harrison is supposed to have this year?

Might be a down year for Harrison County, but that still means a district championship, a regional contender, and atleast 20 wins.

Who else will contend within the region?

Campbell Co's is on the state website as well.

Mason Co. Has there's out just not on KHSAA website we have 40 some odd games:thumb:

Thats several more games than anyone is allowed to play, they will have to hope for bad weather or cancel at the end of season.

Clark, Bourbon, Bishop Brossart, Scott, Campbell

Just a preseason guess.

I agree, maybe they should move them to the 11th with Scott County and get rid of Mac's cake-walk district and regional.

Don't forget the 3 State Championships in which Mac's Boys had to go through the 9th, 11th and 12th Regions not to mention the Regions they faced in the State Tournaments. So much animosity towards the Thorobred Baseball Program. I just don't understand why.

Personally I think Bourbon County could be the team to beat in the 10th Region this year. They return their top 3 pitchers who were all very good last year. Now that Scott High has been officially welcomed to the 10th Region  they should be better focused come tournament time. Brossart will also be tough along with GRC and everyone had better keep an eye on the PCHS Wildcats come tournament time. Harrison County still has the tradition and will be ready to contend by the end of May. Should be another banner year with some great battles in 10th Region Baseball.

While you may not agree with Coach Whitaker's demeanor, you cannot knock his success. His program is one of the best in the state. I agree with Hilltopper that Boubon Co. is the team to beat, at least based on what they have returning. GRC, Harrison, Campbell, Scott and Brossart will all be contenders as well.

1997 40-1, 37-0 in KY.

Maybe Mac and HC should have went to FLA or California and got out of the cake-walk state of Kentucky and played 6A and 7A schools...

Get outta here with that. HC plays Lexington, NKY and Louisville schools every year. They host one of the best baseball tournaments of the year, the McDonald's Classic, where you can always find college scouts and a few pro ones. And by the way 10th region baseball is not as bad as 8th region baseball was with Scott County.

And trust me with this, the 11th region would much rather have Scott County in it in baseball than they would Harrison. Any year for that matter!
