Interesting. Is this BG deciding to “beef up” their schedule or is it because they’re having a hard time finding teams locally that will play them?

Trinity scrimmaged HHS for 4 years. It was always a blowout. Highlands doesn't need a loss like that in the regular season.

Manual will stay as far away from T as they can.

SK has no desire to ruin a 9-1 regular season.

Cov. Cath is better than those teams and would be more competitive against Trinity most years.

Just to be fair, those four years we're the four years that Quick and company rolled everyone they played. That was one of four years that Trinity went to the Pit to play Elder, and gave Elder the worst home loss in Elders school history. Yea, T was pretty good back then. I could be wrong but back then I don't recall anyone in KY wanting to scrimmage or even play T in a regular season game, unless they had to. Highlands had a good run back then. They lost a lot of scrimmages to T, at the same time won a lot of state titles. It was worth it. :thumb:

I think it’s because BG is an independent school and the rise of South Warren is hurting BG getting some of those studs. Exposure carries some weight with today’s youth.

Trinity

South Warren (District)

Hopefully that links right. It’s their complete schedule, so I had to filter it to regular season varsity.
