December 21, 20187 yr UCF Athletic Director said yesterday in an interview the talks for this deal are "dead." He doesn't think UCF should have to take a 2 for 1 deal, and that they should be able to get a home and home with an FBS team.

He doesn't think UCF should have to take a 2 for 1 deal, and that they should be able to get a home and home with an FBS team. He's a moron. He's doing nothing but damaging their program and any future ability to schedule a P5 school.
December 21, 20187 yr It's pretty interesting to me that, for some reason, UCF thinks they are above playing a 2-for-1 against any P5 school, whether they get a true home game or not.

January 5, 20197 yr I'm starting to really like Mike Kelly, USF VP of Athletics. In a move obviously designed to poke a stick in UCF's ribs, he and Florida AD Scott Stricklin announced last week that they had revamped their agreement and moved the Florida/USF game in Tampa to 2021. :lol2: Mike was COO of the CFP from its beginning until his hire last spring. It should be interesting to see what else he scares up to fill the voids in OOC schedule beyond 2019.
