:thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: That was the impression I got RR. That is the thing about this Raceland team, if one unit stuggles another will pick them up. Tonight it was the defense stepping it up for a win and you are right about the game that C. Caldwell had :ylsuper: and J.T. Forrest along with all the Rambler Defense. I also just spoke with a couple of people that were at the game and I was told basically what the radio crew were saying.....Yes LCA had 7 turnovers but they for the most part were caused by some "slobberknockin'" hits by the Racealnd "Orange Crush"!! Dang, I am getting tired, just looked at the clock, BGP is too addictive, I getting some sleep. LOL

Can't go to sleep now Oldrambler, the firetruck will be coming through in a few minutes.

Hey guys a quick correction to my earlier post, the fumble recovery at the end of the game was by Sean Deskins, a clincher. Great Game guys, keep working hard!

Congratulations to Raceland - what a sweet win!!!

Keep the good times rolling! :thumb:

Great "on the road" win for the program. Way to represent Rams! :thumb:

I'm not positive, but I think coach Rains' halftime speech went something like this:

"Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Heck no!

And it ain't over now. 'Cause when the goin' gets tough...

the tough get goin'! Who's with me? Let's go!"

:thumb:   I think that it might have been a little more to the point than that.:D Raines obviously didn't spend the entire time screaming, he made some great adjustments to what the Rams were doing. Raines is a GREAT coach.:thumb: Again Bluto, youself and EaglEye are class acts. I will not forget the kindness and concern that you have shown me in other matters besides football.:thumb: :thumb: LCA will be a force in our district and beyond for years to come. Talent and class all the way.

An oustanding game by both teams, the monster Rams defense was on all night and Caleb Caldwell came up huge with an interception to LCA's three yard line leading to the first Raceland score, a few sacks, several big tackles, a blocked punt returned for a touchdown by Thompson and a fumble recovery to end the game. Congrats to the Rams and their staff and congrats to LCA on a great season.

:thumb: Clint Thompson also had a big game rr and by the way, welcome to the BGP "Orange Crush" nut house!

With the new playoff system this could become an annual event. I know LCA's program will always be top notch and the Rams have some great players coming up at least for the next few years.

That Beechwood team had a great QB and RB if I remember correctly. The RB got hurt in the first half and then returned the second half to beat us. Sorry I can't remembe rhis name.

I don't think anyone will be asleep this Friday!!!! The whole town will be at Ram Stadium. Re-stock the charcoal and clean the grill, It's tailgate time!!!! I hope the PA system is cranking loud as ever for this game. Everyone will have to arrive early as I anticipate a full house!!!!

I think most of the town was in Lexington last night. That was a great turnout, as usual. for the Ram Fans.
