#2 Ranked GRC improves to 4-0 with a road win over Scott high school.

GRC had a 15 point lead at one point. It was a ugly game with neither team playing well. GRC was led by IGO 18, Harrison 15 in only 3 Q of play. Bell with a double double of 10 and 10.

Long day for the Cards today. First this morning was the ACT test, travel to Taylors Mill to play Scott this afternoon, and Christmas dance tonight at GRC.

Yes - so do you recall how they did that? Did they play her man and one particular player shut her down or did they faceguard her? Or just played zone and she couldn’t hit shots?

Harrison guarded her in man. Both Harrison and Meredith were ejected the start of the 3rd period after Harrison trapped Meredith causing her to lose her balance and fall into the stands. Harrison went to help Meredith up but was shoved. Harrison was showing sportsmanship but was ejected due to Meredith reaction. Neither player deserved to be ejected.

Oh my. Are sure Meredith didn’t deserve it? I’ve heard she’s pretty obnoxious on the court.

What was probably grounds for a technical might’ve turned into an ejection because the refs had had enough of her attitude and complaining?

Still doesn’t explain Harrison being ejected as well. She didn’t put her hands on Meredith. Her only fault was she stood her ground when she was shoved.

Ejection for players is supposed to be 2 game susp.

Little surprised double ejection didn't come up in Goldens game summary. Pretty big story when a Mrs. Basketball candidate and an important transfer player (both pre season top 10 players in the region) get ejected. Don't recall the last time I've ever seen a player thrown out of a basketball game besides the rare double technicals. Were tempers flaring all game or was this just one isolated incident?
