I believe Paris will quickly move up in the rankings. I’ll be able to give a little more insight on them after tonight’s scrimmage.

I am a huge fan of Brian Kirk, the person and the coach, and I firmly believe he will get Mason County rolling sooner rather than later.

 

Totally agree here! Kirk is a great coach and I believe he turns MC back into what it once was. Also think his young asst Gilbert is an excellent young coach.

I think this is the year Coach Cook and the Cards get it done. I've enjoyed watching Jordan Graham grow as a player. With that said, I could see CC and Scott winning as well. Their district has owned the Region as of late.

 

GRC has a little bit of everything, but they have no one to stop Jolly. CC can also get physical with Graham, Canada, and the crew. I think that game becomes a real battle. I have CC in the end when it matters.

As you can see from the picture we have some big guys. # 33 Is Jenkins he saw a lot of action last year coming off the bench for Philpot. #25 is Big Ben Jackson. He was hurt part of the season last year, but look for him to be a force this year.

Yes he is. Why I posted the picture so others could see the players for themselves. I wish other posters would do the same.

 

I see Big Ben backing up Jenkins in the post as Jenkins has the most experience. This team has lots of depth. I love my team.

Jolly is more than just physical. He is also skilled. It's going to take more than a big body to slow him down. GRC appears to have some big bodies, and nice guard play, but don't they also go to Campbell County to play this regular season game? Or, do they do a home/home?

They play only once, it is @ Campbell Co Nov. 30th. Our 2nd game of the season.Will be a gauge for both teams to see where they are early in the season. Will be a hard road game for the Cards.

Only reason Mason Rusch isnt in the Top 10 to watch is 1) He's sub 6 foot, 2) He plays at Calvary Christian.

Paris beat Oneida 87-55. Once the score got to a 20 point game I lost interest and missed several good plays. There were 3-4 football players that didn’t participate but once they are worked into the mix it will give us a deep bench. Overall, our style of play should be similar to that of last year. Players to watch for should be Strings, Edwards(freshman), Byars, Johnson, Washington(sophomore), and Clark(once he returns from football)

What was the reasoning for the CC coach leaving? I know he loved Rusch, and was touting him as a future D1 player.
