Offense always has the benefit of surprise. You throw a fresh legged receiver in the game and most people don’t know anything until the DB looks up and sees a new number running by him. If you have the cards no sense in holding them this late in the game.

CCH will have to defend some sets they haven’t seen on film. I’ll leave it at that.

 

I'm guessing as will Highlands. This isn't Steady Eddie's 1st go around. I'm betting CCH will show some new things as well that we didn't see the 1st meeting. Anyone disagree? Or maybe Eddie doesn't waste that on Highlands.

Also the word around the Campfire last night is that Casey McGinnis is battling a very bad case of Turf toe. Not good if that's the case. Those dang nagging injuries are the worst. I wonder if that slows him at all.

I have seen Highlands do crazier things like hold their best Athlete Playmaker out on Offense. Get what i'm saying? Why would Highlands try some new special top secret stuff when they won't even put Huddy in say a Wildcat package like JOAT was saying? It's mind boggling sometimes.

In the end Highlands just doesn't have enough Offense to play with CCH. Not this time around. Like I said before, there's plenty of talent to choose from it's just neglected like I have never seen before. But then again, I'm a transplant so maybe or maybe not it's been overlooked before. Nice year Birds.

That's exactly what they will say. However, I will be the 1st to say that Highlands Offense isn't very good this year. They have the tools on Offense but the Electric isn't on.

But, if you're making assumptions about the actions of one team's fans based on the actions of other teams' fanbases, then I would presume you are also full well expecting the fans of the mighty Bluebirds to get on here and say that their team wasn't really good this year if they lose tomorrow night, correct?

Nah, Birds have had a good year. If CovCath wins and it is a clean win (no strange last second call by a ref that was 40 yards from the play or something like that) then they got beat twice by the same team. No shame in losing to a good/better team.

Nope, you misunderstood my point. I'm saying each time HHS won a game this year, it was said "that team wasn't any good. We'll find out how good they REALLY are next week". Then, when they would win next week, we'd hear the same thing. Over and over and over.. Each win was with little credit to HHS and more so an excuse for why they just beat an underperforming team... Very few non HHS fans on here have given ANY credit to a group of boys who have worked their butts off and turned this program back around from an embarrassing couple years to where they are today. I'm well aware of CCH's record. CCH is a VERY good team. But so is HHS. For some reason, not many non-HHS fans are willing to say that.

You are kidding, right? They are 12-0. Never really a reason to have an excuse. I think some facts have been laid out about some key personnel being absent for extended periods of time. They may have some guys out tomorrow-we will see. I still expect CCH to win, and if they don't then they don't.

I apologize-I should not have posted before I read this. I agree that few have gave Highlands proper credit when they win. Most people in CCH's camp have known all summer how good the Bluebirds could be this year. May the better team win.

Yes, I would say Cov Cath probably is the only other fan base that gave the Birds any credit all year.
