First round games almost always go in favor of the home team. Are there any road teams that might be capable of winning a first round game? Calpreps predicts these games to be the closest, with three of the four teams picked as favorites:

-Bardstown at Bath County

-Union County at Larue County

-Casey County at Powell County

-Western Hills at Lawrence County

Will any of these four win on the road? Are there others you're thinking could pull off a surprise?

Yes, I think Western Hills beats Lawrence. The Casey vs Powell County will be another dog fight just like last season in the playoffs, I wouldn't be surprised if the Rebels also pick up a road win Friday.

Bardstown.

The Western Hills Wandale’s will. Maybe Casey but that will be a tough game. But that’s it. Bardstown is just blind speculation....and Hearsay (see what I did there!).

I think all of them could win.

Casey wont have their starting Quarterback from what I'm hearing too.

Western Hills will roll in Lawrence County (in my opinion).

Union County will get LaRue. Union has made a change and quarterback and stiffened their defense some

They seem to be playing much better. That trip to Larue is a long one, though
