Were you not aware of the situation? One of the Rockcastle coaches brothers has a strong comment on the college thread regarding this. I think it is a valid to bring up such a situation for discussion and the distraction that it brings with this huge game looming. And I still think it is "classless" of Uof L to do this to this outstanding recruit during the KHSAA playoffs in progress! He could have spent the last several weeks entertaining other offers, etc.

Apology accepted. I really think that this will make Kentucky players think twice about a verbal to U of L in the future. This is certainly one-sided. They would throw a fit if a player did not sign after a long verbal!!

What are the reasons that Uof L would have pulled the offer?I agree this is classless, if it is true.

Well if I remember correctly he was one of the first recruits to verbly commit to U of L and i guess they thought he wasn't as good as they thought he was. But I also don't see how they pull the offer. Did he have a bad year?

At PAT's he is about 70%, so that may be considered bad.

No he has a very good year, he is the anchor on the LOS that averages a little over 300 yards per game and tops in the state while being triple teamed a lot on a 10-1 team that lost by 3 points to a surging 4A team.

This game is going to come down to the wire--- no question about it. To me, the kicking games of each team will tell the difference. One big play on special teams or a missed PAT may decide this one. With that said........

And in reference to the Durham situation, I hope Louisville doesn't ever get another in-state recruit south of Lexington and east of I-75. Almost all of these boys bleed blue, and when one of them finally takes a chance in hopes of joining a premiere program in Louisville, Louisville treats them like dirt. I must say that I wasn't at all disappointed to see Petrino and the Cards go down last night. Hopefully, Durham will go to UK and have a stellar career in the SEC, something much more respectable than a stellar career in the Big East.
