Chris Paul / Rajon Rondo Fight

Featured Replies

Anyone see this last night?

CP3 being CP3 poking Rondo in the eyes. Rondo isn’t going to back down to any challenge and he threw the first punch. CP3 got in a decent shot before they were fully separated. CP3 contends Rondo spit in his face (which I wouldn’t put past Rondo), but there is no video of it.

No clue what the hell Brandon Ingram was doing coming in with his haymaker.

Theories that the spit came from Melo’s mouth, but the video evidence is inconclusive to me.

Two very unlikable players, but CP3 seems like a first class turd.

Not sure how anybody could like Chris Paul.

Being the person who challenges the status quo the most on here, I’ve always like Chris Paul. :lol2: I’m not a huge NBA guy though so does someone want to elaborate on why I shouldn’t like him?

I guess Rondo spit on him, but that was the most inconspicuous spit I have ever seen. And it threw me off with the angle that Paul got spat on and how it came from Rondo (hence, the Melo theories).

I honestly do not know anyone that likes Chris Paul (besides Grant). There is something to be said about a lack of self-awareness. For some reason, at all levels of Chris Paul has portrayed as choir boy.... or Cliff Paul. The media LOVES Chris Paul. But dude is the absolute worst. He is up there with my least favorite athletes of all time.

With the suspensions, if Rondo did spit on Paul, and threw the first punch, I would have been fine with him being gone for more than four games. Chris Paul seems fair enough (though I would have been all in on a 50 game suspension), and Ingram's punishment seems a bit light.

He is notorious for going after guy's midsections and being the king of cheap shots. Like, we are talking multiple time violator of the midsection blows. He is protected at all costs though.

Like I said, not a huge NBA guy here, just watch the big games and Lebron. I guess I’ll have to re-evaluate my opinion on Chris Paul. Haha

Spit definitely came out of Rondo's mouth. But, he wears a mouth piece and it's impossible to talk without spitting wearing one of those.

It was unintentional.

The video I saw looked to be 100% intentional.
