Public Schools are always out on election day. Some schools are voting polls. Also State workers get off a half day on election day.

Speaking of polls...it appears to me that LCA is the over-whelming UNDER-DOG in this game based upon the following:

 

Raceland is above LCA in every poll available including the BGP poll at the top oif this thread. Litkenhous, AP and Cantrall all have Raceland above LCA so the BGP'ers must be at least as smart as those guys! right!??:jump:

 

I sure hope LCA can overcome this under-dog status and pull this one out.

These two communities are very small but I honestly have not seen a passion for the h.s. football team like the one that is present here (and has for years regardless of the record) around any town no matter how big or small.

Just don't come up with the one that all then parents and faculty of the school has went to your coach and begged him to forfiet the game. They just couldn't stand to see the Raceland boys beat their little boys up and hurt them.:lol: :lol: Pumphrey actually came out with that one year in the pre game article for our local paper here. Great coach was Pumphrey but he was also put out the best "ferilizer" in the business. :thumb:

LCA probably will be the underdog, and will have to battle to win this game.

You are correct in this statement. LCA is the district champion untill someone knocks them off. Hopefully that will be Raceland on Friday night.

i am glad that we are all encouraging on the BGP because the general thoughts around Raceland is that we will get beat. Not only did I hear it once yesterday but about 9 or 10 times. I stand by my word give these boys encouragement. Cvillecat said the boys were all buisness yesterday. Leads me to believe they want this. I know it was cold last week but our crowd was dead. Us oldtimers know that all it takes is a good game and these boys are capable of doing that. I am sure LCA will play their heart out but what makes everyone sure we wont. Ok, i am done with my speach election is over.

I usually always go aganist the rams on predictions just so they can prove me wrong but today i predicate the Rams for all the doubtors.
