I’m gonna limit T to two entries since they’d dominate this list 2011 T 2015 Male 2016 T 2009 X 2009 Highlands 2011 BG 2011 Highlands 2016 BG (because go purples) 2017 Cov Cath 2013 Scott County I’m aware there have been better teams than some mentioned over the past decade. Feel free to add your own if you so choose.
ATLCat Posted October 9, 2018 Posted October 9, 2018 When we are talking about small schools, the 2015 Belfry team is hard to ignore as one of the better small school teams from Kentucky in recent memory. The 2015 Pirates: - Defeated 6 teams who went on to reach the State Semi's in their respective classes by an average final score of 37-7 (Corbin, NewCath, Pikeville, Knoxville Catholic, Johnson Central, Lexington Catholic) - Defeated 5 teams who went on to play in their respective State Championship games by an average final score of 37-6. Included was a 41-0 win over eventual 4A Runner-Up Johnson Central. - Defeated the eventual 1A Champion Pikeville and defeated the eventual TN 4A State Champion Knoxville Catholic by a combined score of 72-22. Knoxville Catholic had two eventual All-Americans (Clemson's Amari Rodgers and Georgia's Cade Mays) and their starting roster would eventually produce 6 Division 1 signees. - Would go on to have 6 players off the roster sign at the Division 1 level of their own, including Louisville's Cole Bentley and UK's Austin Dotson - Finished as one of the Top 50 Small Schools in the Country as ranked by Maxpreps

Their offensive line was the most dominant I’ve probably ever seen.

Their offensive line was the most dominant I’ve probably ever seen. The lone knock on that 2015 team was an absolute stinker they laid on the road at Cabell Midland, WV where Belfry fumbled it like 7 times and lost five of them. That was arguably the best Cabell Midland team in their school's history though and was the #1 overall team in West Virginia until they were upset in the Semi-Finals by a Capital team they had previously defeated in the regular season. That Midland team produced three Division players of their own including Reese Donahue who is currently the starting DE at West Virginia.

Wakefield; UofL, c/o '17: N. Hobbs; Illinois, B. Smith, D. Gossett; EKU, S. Mayes; Indiana St. plus many others at FCS/D2/NAIA level Team won Hoover, AL National Select 7/7 tournament. 15-0 season and national top-10 ranking by multiple sources. Talent all over the board.

LongTimeReader Posted October 9, 2018 Posted October 9, 2018 The 2009 X team was very good. Had dominate line play and had very good skill players. Their only loss was to Cincy St. X. The 2011 BG team started the run of dominance by the Purples. They went into St. X and beat them by controlling the late of scrimmage late in the game to secure a huge win. There was talent all over the place, Scooter Hollis (Columbia) at QB, Nacarius Fant(WKU) at WR, Joe Manley OL, Blue Tisdale. My favorite player from that team was Mychael “Champ” Bailey, he was fun to watch.

ReadOption Posted October 9, 2018 Posted October 9, 2018 I don’t get outside of Louisville to watch too many games. That 2015 Male team may have been one of the fastest teams I’ve seen in recent years at every position. Very fun team to watch.
