Before the AP poll comes out this afternoon, who are your top 5 teams?

1. Bama

2. Georgia

3. Ohio State

4. Notre Dame

5. LSU

1. Alabama

2. Ohio State

3. Georgia

4. Notre Dame

5. LSU

1) Alabama

2) Georgia

3) Notre Dame

4) Ohio State

5) Oklahoma

It’s pretty much a toss up between Oklahoma, LSU and Clemson right now IMO.

1. Alabama

2. Ohio St.

3. LSU

4. Georgia

5. Oklahoma

That's how I see it, but not what I think the polls will be.

1. LSU

2. Ohio State

3. Notre Dame

4. Alabama

5. Georgia

Everybody thinks Bama is number one, and they may very well be the best team, but their best win was at home against a mediocre Texas A&M team.

If we're going to go by who actually has the best win(s), there are 3 teams with wins against 2 ranked teams. LSU winning @ Auburn & neutral site Miami. Ohio State winning @ Penn St. & neutral site TCU (who isn't ranked anymore). Notre Dame beating Michigan & Stanford @ home. Those are the 3 best resumes, at this point. After that, you've got to throw Bama in, just so people don't think you're crazy.

No you're absolutely crazy if you think Notre Dame is a better team than Alabama. Michigan and Stanford are frauds and so is Notre Dame. You look at the game, you analyze the film by looking at the personnel and see how they handle the opponent. At this point you can't go by the resume; because you really don't know much about any team 4 or 5 games into a season.

Not gonna lie, I don't know if I'd put Notre Dame in the top 10.

You are putting LSU at 1 based off of 1 win, Auburn. While that looks like a good win is it that good to put them 1?

I think it's the best win in college football this season. It was @ Auburn.

I still think Bama and Georgia are better than them though.

I think I’m a little confused at what you all are watching with Auburn. They can’t block anyone and they can’t run the ball. Like the same arguments you were using to say Penn State looked bad against lesser teams should be used in the same manner against Auburn. I’m just confused at why you think Auburn is a top 5 team but don’t give Penn State any credit at all.

Because Auburn has a win against a top 10 team? You conveniently left out that important fact...

:lol2: For someone who constantly says they hate the B1G teams you sure do spend a lot of time on here trying to prop them all up.

I’m talking strictly about Auburn. I’m not even trying to pump up Penn State, I’m just trying to figure out why you are pumping up Auburn. They aren’t a top 5 team. They are in the same class with teams like Penn State. 10-15 range sounds about right. Their O line is really bad right now. I don’t see how they can be top 5 right now.
