Wilson Kelly & Reese Smith out for Boyle?

I just heard from my buddy over at Danville that Wilson Kelly,Boyle's leading tackler and olineman who Smith has been playing both ways had surgery yesterday and is out. Kelly and Smith are Boyle’s 2 best players and with both of them out Boyle is nowhere near the same team. Anybody have details of Kelly’s injury??

They will be sorely missed vs. Bye this week.

Actually had not heard about Kelly so I don't know anything. Reese will be working his way back in by Lexington Catholic game.

Don't forget Boyle already lost Hotchkiss for the season after the first game. Certainly one of the more injury plagued teams this season.

I've not heard this news so I had to make some calls to find out what's going on. Wilson Kelly did in fact have a non football surgery from my source. I was told that the surgery was minor and he is going to be just fine.

To the best of my knowledge Kelly is fine Grant Hotchkiss is the other player that had surgery and he’s been out since the Ballard game, but just had surgery. Coach Leffew told me Reese will be available for the Garrard game.

I know it's a long shot but is there even a slight possibility of Grant coming back during the playoffs?

Kelly wasn’t ejected in that game that was Hatter. I went down to that game with a Coach from EKU and we were watching players closely especially Kelly. It was confirmed he had surgery yesterday but no more details than that.

Sorry. Got the two mixed up. Apologies.

Don’t think Grant will be back until baseball season.

What I've heard also. Baseball is his future!

Also was told that Wilson would not miss any games. I'm sure he will take it fairly easy for the Garrard game after the bye week and be back full for Lex Cath.
