Cov Cath is really good. My only gripe is that Beechwood gives up on the run way to quick. They have a good line but want to pass 80% of the the time. They were about 70% run first couple of games and then abandoned the run.

Especially when the game plan has to be control the time of possession and limit the touches for the Colonel offense.

This simply speaks of the differences between a good 1A and a good 5A program 5A private even more so). If Beechwood ever wins this matchup, the coaches at Cover Cath have some explaining to do.

 

We may be headed into a discussion for another thread, but I will just reply here with this. It depends on your definition of "good". I think Beechwood wins over every team in 5A except the top few. For example, I think Beechwood is a definite favorite over #5 Southwestern.

I'm glad the Tigers kept playing instead of giving up.
