New Faces to Beware of

You have both Rock and Bell in the top ten. Both have successful playoff experience. Rock played Lex Cath. better than anyone in last years playoffs including BG. It just seems this game is being down played. Bad idea!!! Very Bad Idea!!!!!!!:D :D :D

CovCath played LexCath better than anyone last year. It came down to the end. We will find out in 3 weeks if Johnson Central is for real. They should have two easy first round games and then they get to play some good competition. I agree, the 3rd round will not be an easy game for Central.

Harlan has no chance vs. Somerset or Pikeville.

Big statement!:creepy:

Really?

Nov 11, 2005 LexCath 42, CovCath 39

Nov 18, 2005 LexCath 17, Highlands 0

Nov 25, 2005 LexCath 48, Rockcastle 20

Seems to me the LexCath game with CovCath was a little closer than the one with Rockcastle.

As far as the score is concerned I agree. The Rock was a much tighter game until late in the game. Big play late in the game changed the momentum tremendously. My point was only that it seems some JC fans are over looking their 3rd round game. Not looking to rehash last year.

Thats right, some fans might be overlooking that game. But the team and coaches arent. The team and coaches are taking the play-offs 1 game at a time.

2005 - Pikeville 29, Harlan 0

2004 - Pikeville 28, Harlan 14

2002 - Pikeville 40, Harlan 12

1999 - Pikeville 33, Harlan 12

1998 - Pikeville 46, Harlan 14

Pikeville is much better than last year's team that beat Harlan 29-0...

You said Rockcastle played LexCath closer than anybody in the playoffs including BG. I understand that Rock was in the game until late in the game. I'm saying the CovCath/LexCath outcome was in doubt until the game was actually over.

I agree that JC fans seems to be overlooking Rock/Bell this year, but your illustration from last year was not accurate.

Harlan is a much better team also. "No Chance" is a ridiculous statement. I hope the panthers continue to be as overconfident as you are.

Again not trying to rehash last year. The posters original statement was that BG, Cov Cath and HHS was far above everyone else. I was actually thinking of the Rock game vs. Lex cath as compared to BG's game against Lex Cath. Once again I did not remeber the exact score of the Cov Cath game. Sorry about the confusion but I still stick by my point that it seems that many people are looking past round 3.

Panthers are not overconfident. Hope to see you guys in a couple weeks...:thumb:

I admit I'm not an expert when it comes to the east teams, but, they just went toe to toe with Somerset last week...I'd say a 14-7 loss is a better chance than you're giving credit for when you say NO CHANCE...and before you say weather played a big part, it was the same for both teams..

I bet you do hope that ;)

Won 14-7 playing the game their way.(running) Next time if it is dry they'll have to play our game.:thumb:

I bet you hope for a better result for Somerset if they make it to Pikeville, than the drubbing they took 2 years ago, the last time they made the trip to Pikeville.;)
