October 29, 200619 yr I'm glad to get a SEC road win. However, the D: Allowed MSU qb Henig to set a career high of 3 TD passes. Allowed MSU wr Burke to catch for 192 yards, 5th best all time at MSU. Allowed the Bulldogs a first quarter conversion of 3rd and more than 10 for the time this season (0-21 previous to that). Allowed MSU 408 yards of offense, the most MSU has had since the 2005 opener. Some opportunities for improvement there next week.

Some opportunities for improvement there next week. Don't be so negative. UK also has: 1. For only the second time in the last ten years we won the game played after a bye week. 2. A .500 record this late into the season for the first time since 2002. With a overall record of 4-4 and 2-3 in the SEC. 3. Won at least two SEC games for the second year in a row. 4. Won an SEC road game other than Vanderbilt for the first time since 2002. 5. Scored 28 or more points for the 5th time this season. (25.3 points per game average). Go Cats. This is a trap game for Georgia this week and could be the signature win Brooks needs.
October 29, 200619 yr Coach Brooks and Joker wish he would simply play and run the right routes. They were not happy with him on one of the INTs that resulted because he ran the wrong route. Youthful exuberance is fine - to a point. He may have talked a bit too much but I have no problem with it.

October 29, 200619 yr Funny how " Someone " comes in here and talks down a team for winning. Just be happy a Team from the CW won, Best believe I'll be here to talk down on UofL after this weekend. :thumb:
October 30, 200619 yr Nice to see the Cats win! Who cares if it was close...they won! UK fans are too picky. Last season they won what..2 games? Now they are winning close games and UK fans are complaining! Take the win and celebrate! Possible UPSET next week vs. Georgia!!
October 30, 200619 yr I'm happy with the win, and to this point I've supported coach Archer, but when it seems every team we play their QB has a carreer day it's getting a little old.
October 30, 200619 yr ^ it sounded as if he was hoping for a blow out...that's what I got from it. You obviously didn't understand then. He wanted the team to come out mad, like LSU did against UK. He didn't say they would win 49-0, he just wanted some passion. Looks like he got it. First time Brooks and the boys have FLOWN home a winner since he came to UK. Improvement is on the way.
October 30, 200619 yr As a long suffering UK football fan, any win ,especially an SEC road win, is a welcome site. However, the D is just killing me. 31 points to a team that has only scored 20+ this season is simply awful. They scored 24 @ Georgia. :sssh:
October 30, 200619 yr Should he go? :argue: Should he stay? I like Rich Brooks and 2 more wins will secure his job. Way to GO CATS!!!

At least he fired up his offensive buddies, that defense allowed for MSU to hang their heads high offensively.

October 31, 200619 yr At least he fired up his offensive buddies, that defense allowed for MSU to hang their heads high offensively. Didn't MSU score 17 @ LSU and 24 @ Georgia? I would anticipate they would score more than that on UK. Its common sense.
