Ok guys sorry for the delay. A bad weekend and a little old age slowed me up a bit but here's what we are looking like after week #1 I will do a much better job next week with some additional commentary. Please look over the totals and shoot me a message if you find a mistake. We had a few score in at least 3 contests and score well. But it's a loooooong season so don't give up and it's not too late to join in. :wave: I've never played these contests but I know a couple of these guys and if they can score I'm bound to be able to. I have found a mistake with gchs_uk9 score thanks to physicscubadiver. Thank You. I will also try to explain the scoring.

 

In the Pick 10: The winner gets 10 points all the way down to the member finishing tenth getting one point. If there are ties, each player will get the point total they tied for. For example, if two contestants tied for second, each would receive 9 points. No one would receive the 8 points for third, you'd drop down to 7 points for the contestant who finished in fourth. (Since they'd actually be the #4 team with three ahead of them). You'd ignore the tiebreakers for that contest. So if three members have a perfect week to finish first, there's a contest specific tiebreaker to determine who gets the prize, but each one would be recognized in this contest as tying for first, receiving 10 points.

 

In the regional contests: The winner gets 5 points down to the member finishing fifth getting one point. The ties works the same as above. If all of the top five got a perfect score we would use tiebreakers to determine winners but in the season long BluegrassPreps 500 all would get credit and get 5 points. Also no matter how many are tied for one of the spots they get that total. Another example would be if 2 people got a perfect score and 6 people were just a point behind the 2 people would get 5 points, nobody gets 4 points for second since that spot was taken up by the other perfect score. Then all 6 of the ones that were just 1 point off would get the 3rd place point value of 3 points. The result for the season long contest for that region for that week would have 2 people with 5 points towards their season total and 6 more would get 3 towards their total.

 

In the Western contest this week they had 4 players tie for 1st so they all got 5 points then 6 players tied for 5th so all gets that 1 point. Hope this clears it up and as shared up above there is one known mistake. Im headed to bed and will go over all the scores again to double check. I had trouble finding results for one of the contests so when I finally did I went kind of quick to try to get the results up. Shouldn't be a problem next week but always double check your scores just to keep me straight.
