Man I'll be in class! Go Lady Bears!

I was their Saturday Game 1 was Felicity vs. Bracken County, the lady Cardinals seem to have the first half in hand, but the the lady bears didn't lay down and die they scrached and clawed and palyed pretty well.3

Game 2 Western Brown vs. Deming, Lady Devils were pretty much bombed by the score of 20-2 in the first period, but I think Coach Doyle tweeked the plays a little bit and seemed like the lady devils did pretty good in periods 2 &3 and won those 2 periods. Mason County looked good too.

And Paris beat Western Brown by 15+

Did Reese (missed pretty much all of soph and junior years to knee injuries) play at all for Mason County?

Reese did play and played well! I have known Megan for sometime and I couldnt wish anything better but a successful, uninjured season. If anyone deserves it, its Megan.

 

She shot the ball well and I was surprised how it seemed that she played with no fear after injuring both knees the past two seasons.. She will definately be a positive for the Lady Royals.

If she can stay healthy, that's great news for the Lady Royals. The bench has been thin and Hales' speed needs to be replaced. Megan Reese at full strength would improve their chances in the 10th immensely!

She never has or never will have the quickness of a Miranda Hales, but she has something Hales didnt have... AN OUTSIDE SHOT!! Mason will need her to contribute this year if they want to get farther then last year.

Something I mentioned once or twice last year; it's tough to use basically a six-man rotation in close, intense games.

 

I also recall that I was criticized for saying that the Lady Royal bench was thin; although anyone with at least one eye open would know that was the case. May have been a simple case of a basketball mom or dad having a tough time facing facts.

 

I wish nothing but the best for Megan - a straight-A student and she has worked hard to get back on the court in the face of great odds. I'm thinking that Coach Buser would be tickled to death to get 8-12 points per night from Reese - all season long - and force defenses to guard her behind the arc.

Mason needs some reserves to make some contributions this year or they wont win region.
