Great pictures @newarkcatholicfan. I see a lot of familiar faces on the Lincoln staff and its really nice to see the "block L" back on the sides of the Lincoln helmets.

And thanks.

What happened to your Patriots last week? A guy in Danville told me "they just made the wrong hire." They can't be happy with that start.

Rome wasn’t built in a day.

Hopefully Lincoln can improve next week and get the ball to that big, talented tight end. Next week will be a hard one RC, I think will be a very good team by the end of the season.

Who would be a good hire? The program has been dormant for a decade.

So a team that went 3-8 last season lost to one of the best teams in 2A in their opener and already the coaching hire was bad? Come on, now. This sounds more like sour grapes from some folks who preferred one hire and got another.

Agreed, the program was in a position where they weren't going to land a "homerun hire" with a successful/established head coach. And even if they had, I'm not sure with the current roster that the outcome of first game would have been different. Somerset is a quality football team. People need to be patient, and realize what the program is. Not what it was decades ago.

Spencer will be successful! He is a worker and he knows ball! LC nation needs to buy into him and that staff! The kids have and they will win!

Lincoln people have bought in.

You may be right.
